Pacific Northwest II; Day 3

Today was a scenic 283 mile Wyoming drive from Rawlins to Jackson. It was a chilly fifteen degrees when we woke up and it was still below twenty when we left.

Before departing Rawlins, however, we stopped by the the Wyoming Frontier Prison & Museum (OldPrison). It was not open for tours but I was able to take some photos of the outside. I think a tour would have been very interesting.

We stopped for lunch in Pinedale at the Wrangler Cafe. They served up a LARRAPIN good patty melt and fries. We made it healthy with a trip to the salad bar.

West and north of Pinedale we stopped for some photos of the Wind River Mountain Range.

As we neared Jackson it became cloudy and even started to snow a bit. We're hoping it doesn't snow so much that the roads in Yellowstone National Park are closed because that is our destination for tomorrow.
