Anniversary Trip; Day 2

The Cedar Crest Lodge sits on a little over 100 acres of land, which includes a walking trail and several ponds. The walking trail was wet and soggy in places due to recent rains but we came prepared with the proper footwear. So, after a LARRAPIN good breakfast, we set off to walk, explore, and fish.

We tried one pond for over an hour and didn't catch squat. After moving on to the second pond we hit the mother lode. We caught 6 small bass in a short period of time. Fishing is much more fun when you actually catch fish.

While fishing we had a snack lunch that we'd brought with us. When we returned to our room Chris found this:
She was a surprised and happy camper!

We had a little rest period before we got dressed up for dinner -
- where we enjoyed a salad, filet mignon and strawberry rhubarb upside down cake. Another great meal and another great day. I'm sure glad she said yes 45 years ago (or so).
