Smokey’s BBQ
What a great day for a ride. Three good friends, Gary, Rod and Greg accompanied me on a back-roads ride to Wellsville, KS. Wellsville is the home of Smokey’s BBQ ( http://www.smokeysbbqks.com/ ), a larrapin good place to eat with that small town ambiance. I really enjoyed a beef and pork sandwich with a side of beans – like I said – larrapin good. In fact, three of us had the same thing. Greg was the odd man out ordering a plain ole beef sandwich. From Wellsville we rode to Olathe and Louisburg before riding on home. A really great ride of 135 miles. It was in the low 60’s when we started and the high today was 75.
