Ride with Bryan
Yesterday morning I had a rare treat - a ride with my son. I left my home at 8:50 and rode to meet Bryan at his house. We departed on our ride shortly after 9:00, riding north on I-435 across the Kansas River and across the Missouri River into Missouri to Hwy 45, which took us north. When we could we turned west and crossed the Missouri River into Leavenworth, Kansas. We picked up Hwy 92 and rode west (this is a pretty route) to McLouth where we turned east and south on Hwy 16. At Tonganoxie we stopped for fuel before motoring east to the Legends, where we stopped at a Starbucks for come coffee and conversation. our beasts parked at Starbucks my Goldwing and his Yamaha Stratoliner It was a relaxing enjoyable ride of 100 miles. The temperature when we started was 66 and by the time we arrived home just before noon it was 78. All under blue clear skies. Life is grand!
