Coronavirus Tour; Day 2

We departed our hotel in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at 8:20. It was 41 degrees and raining. Not a great start to the day for Carl and Marge on the motorcycle. Hwy 60 took us east to Sikeston, where we caught Hwy 62 east. We crossed the Mississippi River into Illinois.

Then we immediately turned onto 51 east (or south) and crossed the Ohio River, which was running a lot of barges, into Kentucky. All the photos taken today were with our cell phones and most were from a moving car.

We drove Hwy 121 east from Wickliffe, KY to Mayfield and Murray. In Murray, we dropped by Hannigan Motorsports (http://www.hannigantrikes.com), where Carl bought his motorcycle trailer years ago. We wanted to check out their new products but found they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

We continued south on 121 into Tennessee, where the highway became 119. Hwy 79 took us east to Dover, TN, where we ate a tasty lunch at Mama Mea's. They served pizza, pasta, sandwiches, wraps and salads.

It was Hwy 79 on east to Clarksville, Alt 41 south, 256 north, I-24 east to Nashville, and I-40 to the east side of Nashville, where we stopped for the day at about 3:10. It rained to some degree or another until we reached Mayfield, KY. We traveled 266 miles today and our high temperature was 53.
